Sean Winters, of Colleyville, TX, passed away unexpectedly on April 21,2018 in Colleyville TX. He will always be remembered as a loving son, brother, husband and friend to all who knew and loved him. Sean attended DeSoto High School and graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington where he was a brother of the FIJI fraternity. He spent a summer in Spain at the University of Barcelona, providing him the opportunity to travel countries that few are able to see. He was an avid golfer and loved deep sea fishing. He was an incredible chef and loved family cookouts. He loved sports and enjoyed the multitude of Fantasy Football drafts he joined . Sean is survived by parents Steve and Joy Winters of Colleyville TX, brother and sister-in-law Jason and Rachelle Winters, sister and brother-in-law Brittany and Rocky Raquepo, grandparents Howard and Eve Winters, 5 nieces and a nephew, numerous cousins, aunts and uncles Dale & Stan Weir and Dawn & Tim Vance, wife Jennifer Winters and lifelong friends Austin Pulliam and BJ Hinz. He was preceded in death by grandparents Blanche & Wilbur Philcox and Gwendolyn Winters, and uncles Scott Philcox and Mark Winters. His memorial service will be held at 10 o’clock a.m. on April 25 at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel with a reception to follow at his parents’ home. Honorary pallbearers are Jason, Austin, BJ, Stan, and Rocky. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation. Sean was an amazing, loving and adventurous soul who will be missed by all.
