Serenity Waylinda Jenkins

Serenity grew up in Richland Hills, TX and attended Richland High School. She worked for VIP Mortgage as a Loan Processor for 16 years.

Serenity married Jeff Jenkins in 2008. They were together for 15 years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was always the life of the party. You never knew what she would say or do next. She had an infectious charm and made sure everyone was welcomed. Serenity never met a stranger and never failed to help anyone in need. She fought relentlessly against the Big C. Nothing was more important than her kids and spending time with those she loved. She was a true warrior and never gave up the fight. She will be greatly missed by everyone.

Serenity is survived by her children Layna Tucker-Martin and Doug Tucker; mother Linda Moss and stepfather Sammy Moss; brother Russell Martin, sister Felicia Moon and her husband David and brother Shawn Price; stepfather Mark Price; and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Serenity was preceded in death by her father Gary Wayne Martin; sister April Martin; grandparents Bill and Maggie Ruckman and grandfather Frank Vasquez.

Due to Covid, the funeral will be immediate family and will be held at Bluebonnet Hills, 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville TX 76034 at 12:30pm on November 17, 2020. The family welcomes everyone to the graveside service at Oak Grove Memorial Park at 1413 E Irving Blvd, Irving TX 75060 at 3:00pm.
