Sharon Kay Prague

Sharon met William “Bill” Prague in Euless, Texas at Harris Methodist H-E-B hospital, and the two were married on April 26, 1969. Together they were blessed with one son, Robert Prague, who was the pride and joy of their life. Sharon and William would show up to every milestone and moment.

Sharon and William went on a total of 78 cruises together. They traveled the world and discovered beautiful beaches, experienced different cultures, landscapes and different ways of life.

Throughout her life Sharon was a surgical nurse, RN/CNOR for 38 years at Harris Methodist H-E-B. Her professionalism and leadership skills were an inspiration to those who had the privilege of working alongside her. In addition to her professional pursuits, Sharon was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She had many accolades to include Worthy Matron in Grapevine Chapter # 326. Worth Matron Quitman Chapter #695 from (2011-2012). Deputy Grand Matron District 1 Section 10 (2011-2012). Grand Electa (2017-2018). Grand Representative of Minnesota (2018-2019). She was also an active member of the Lake Country Classics Car Club in Quitman, Texas.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Malcolm and Maxine Morrison, her sister Karen and her brother Burl. She is survived by her devoted husband William Downey Prague of 56 years of Quitman, Texas, son Robert Prague, daughter-in-law Rosa and grand-daughter Emily Prague of Haltom City. Her brother Gary Morrison, wife Laura and their children Michael and Kenny of Gainesville, Texas.

Services to honor Sharon will be held on April 6, 2026, at the Bluebonnet Funeral home. Visitation is from 12:30pm – 1:15pm. Funeral Service will start at 1:30pm.

There will be a Celebration of Life on April 18, 2026, at 2pm at the Flora Masonic Lodge. Address: 915 TX-37 Quitman, Texas 75783. Please join us for refreshments following the ceremony.
