

Shelley Rene Teel (Smith), aged 50, our beloved mother, wife, and daughter, was called to her eternal rest on July 30, 2024. She was born in Fort Worth, Texas to Billy and Charlotte Smith, of Denison, on August 8th 1973 and married the love of her life, Keith Dale Teel on June 10th 1995.
Shelley was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her, living life with ambition and excitement. A graduate of L.D. Bell High School, she pursued a distinguished career in banking, culminating in her role as Senior Vice President Consumer Operations at Bank of America (11 years). This followed a 20-year successful career at Citibank, where she served as Senior Vice President of Customer Service and Senior Vice President of Commercial Banking.
Shelley was a beacon of love and loyalty, cherished for her joyful spirit and the smile that could light up any room. She was a dedicated wife, celebrating 29 years of marriage with her high school sweetheart, Keith, and a devoted mother to their two daughters, Lauren and Taylor. Her commitment to her family and friends was profound and she was always there to support and love them unconditionally.
Shelley's life was marked by her passion for creating lasting memories with her loved ones. Her hobbies included fitness, hunting, gardening, traveling, and crafting traditions that ensured memorable moments for her family and friends. Whether she was making her yard bloom with vibrant flowers or spending quality time with family and friends, she poured her heart into every activity.
Mourning her passing while celebrating her legacy are her devoted husband, Keith; daughters, Lauren(22) and Taylor(20); parents, Billy and Charlotte Smith; and a community of extended family and many friends whose lives she touched deeply. She is preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Dr. John and Charlie Boluch.
Visitation will be held on August 6th 2024, from 6pm to 8pm and the funeral service will take place on August 7th 2024, at 2pm at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home & Memorial Park located at 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville TX 76034. Shelley requested that everyone wear pink to her funeral service on August 7th.
Shelley's life will be celebrated and remembered as one filled with kindness, love, and the joy she brought to everyone around her. Her legacy of warmth and generosity will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
