Shirley Lee Weaver Byrd passed away on August 21, 2017 surrounded by her family. Visitation: 6:00-8:00pm, Friday, August 25, 2017. Funeral: 12:30pm Saturday, August 26, 2017 both at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home.
Shirley was one of 9 children born to Erby and Eva Weaver in Cross Plains, Texas. She enjoyed site-seeing, camping, watching racing, the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys, but most importantly Shirley enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Those preceding Shirley in death are her parents, son Harold Dean Byrd, siblings Floyd Weaver, Carl Weaver, and Warren Weaver.
Survivors: beloved husband of 53 years Monty Byrd, daughters; Roseanna Laws, husband Eddie, Cheryl Smitherman, and husband Danny, siblings; Herman Weaver, Wanda Hammel, Dena Nickerson, Billie Kelly and Mary Weaver, daughter-in-law; Kathy Byrd, 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
