Shirley Adams Whiteside passed away peacefully in Texas, at the age of 87, surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by Ray, her husband of 55 years, and son Jeffrey. She is survived by her sister Donna Gilpin, 9 loving children; Bob Whiteside (Linda), Ron Whiteside (Karen), Randy Whiteside (Sue), Steve Whiteside (Allison), Kathy Wenth (Rick), Jim Whiteside, Joe Whiteside (Mary Sue), Stacey Whiteside (Patti), and Laurie Dedegbe (Jules) , as well as 20 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held on August 15, 2015 at 10:00am at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in Chandler, AZ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Shirley to her favorite charitable organization , “Catholic Charities” , 4747 N. 7th Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85013.
