Steven Robert Wendler, age 65, passed away peacefully on February 15th, 2026 at his home in Flower Mound, Texas. He was born in Fargo, North Dakota on May 25th, 1960. A graduate of Michigan State University, Steve worked in both the Defense and Transportation industries for 32 years. His engineering career started at Texas Instruments in Lewisville, Texas, where he met his wife of 37 years.
Steve is survived by his devoted wife and sons, Susan, Jason and Eric. He is also survived by his two sisters Deborah (William) Hattle and Linda (Thomas) Dekar as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and grandnephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, located at 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, TX, 76034, on March 7, 2026, from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm.
A Reception will follow at the same venue from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
