Sue Hatmaker

Sue Hatmaker, age 79, stepped into external glory on Sunday, March 17th, 2024.

She grew up in Cayce, South Carolina as an only child but with a large extended family. She was born on October 25th, 1944 to the late Jim and Mary Lucas.

Sue was known for her generous spirit and infectious laugh. She earned her degree in Theology and enjoyed teaching God's word, volunteering to help others, and praying. She was always praying for all of us and teaching us how to pray. She enjoyed trips all over Texas with her friends and special trips with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Ken Hatmaker, her son and daughter in-law Ken and Penny Hatmaker. Her son-in law and daughter Don and Katharine Boland. Her grandson and his wife Matt and Tori Hatmaker, her granddaughter and her husband Heather and Dan Kiernan. Her grandson and his wife John and Sarah Boland and her granddaughter Victoria Boland. The many beloved children that made her a great-grandmother are Audrina, Cammie, Lilliana, Lorena, Keagan and Liam.

Visitation: The family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 2:00pm Monday, March 25th, 2024 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, Texas 76034.

A Homecoming Service will follow at 2:00 pm.
