Terry was born, grew up and had resided in Fort Worth all of his life. He worked as a mechanic and engine rebuilder for Industrial Diesel in Fort Worth for a total of 27 years, and was glad to go to work every day and be among his friends. In his marriage to Kellee York in 1998, he found happiness with someone who loved him deeply, treasured his spirit and mostly kept him out of trouble. An avid outdoorsman, Terry enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding all-terrain vehicles, playing softball and racing of all kinds. He could fix anything, had a wicked sense of humor, barbecued like nobody's business and never met a stranger. Terry was happiest when he was outdoors and in the company of his many friends and extended family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, including his little buddy, Sammy.
Terry was preceded in death by an infant sister, Shelley Dawn Cook.
