He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on September 9, 1944. Thomas graduated from Garfield High School and received a Business degree from John Carroll University. He was married to Velda K. Schambacher on December 30, 1977. Thomas had a career in home building for Bacher Building Investments, Inc.
He had a passion hockey, motorcycles and poker.
He was preceded in death by father, Eugene; mother, Florence; sister, Cynthia; grandson, Jonny and granddaughter, Avery. He is survived by spouse, Velda K. Schambacher; children, Paul, Scott, Dawn, Susan and Christopher; grandchildren, Shawn, Taylor, Ashley, Hayden, Breanna, Alyssa, Christina, Olivia, Grayson and Mila and sister, Elizabeth Stautihar.
Visitation will be from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM on October 27, 2022 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, Texas 76034. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
