Thomman Kanjappalil Anthrayos (K.T. Andrews) went into eternal rest with his Lord and savior Jesus Christ on February 3, 2023 at the age of 87 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born on March 21, 1935 in Arpookara, Kottayam, Kerala, India to the late Thomman and Annamma Thomman. He is now reunited with his parents and sisters: Mariamma Varkey and Molly Abraham. He is survived by his brothers K.T. Thomas and Thomas Kurian. He married Aleyamma (Kunjunjamma) in 1960 and shared 62 years of a loving marriage.
At the age of 18, he moved to Chennai for a job at Dunlop Tires. Along with his full-time job, his entrepreneurial spirit led him to have multiple bakeries and a shoe store. He was an active member of the St. Andrews Mar Thoma Church in Avadi and leader among the Malayalee community in Chennai. In 1984, he came to the U.S. and settled in Fort Worth, Texas. He was an active participant of the Mar Thoma Church in Grand Prairie and later a founding member of the Mar Thoma Church of Dallas, Farmers Branch. There he served as prayer group leader for both Irving and Fort Worth / Mid-Cities.
In his free time, K.T. Andrews enjoyed spending his time with others. He always saw the potential in others and encouraged others to be the best version of themselves. He also devoted time to his garden planting several vegetables and keeping up with current events. Above anything else, he was a family man. He was a faithful husband; devoted father to Thomas (Gigi) & wife Elizabeth (Elsie), Reggie & wife Julie, Abraham (Shaji) & wife Jiji (Sheena); and loving grandfather to David & wife Stacy, Rachel (Rea) & husband Ryan, Rebecca (Becky) & husband Jason, Elisa, Ruth, Krystiann (Jeeva) and Hannah.
In the last few years, K.T. spent most of his time devoted to his faith. He spent countless hours
reading scripture and watching sermons. It only adds to his testament of the legacy he left us - living a life full of faith, hard-work, humility, generosity, respect, integrity, and compassion that touched and made a difference in many lives.
