He graduated from Grapevine high school and was working towards a degree in Graphic Design at the University of North Texas.
Tyler was a member of Westside Church of Christ in Irving, Texas. He had a passion for spending time with his family, drawing, video games, movies, and all things Marvel, specifically Spider-Man. Anyone who knew Tyler knew that his presence could light up the entire room.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ron and Carol Praytor; and grandfather, Larry Thurman.
Tyler is survived by his parents, Michael and Shari Thurman; brother, Brandon Thurman; grandmother, Jan Thurman; uncle, Alan Thurman as well as many extended family members and numerous friends.
A Celebration of Tyler's Life will be held Tuesday, August 24, 2021, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home located at 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, Texas 76034.
