

Vaughn Daniel Yeager, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on February 11, 2019 in McKinney, Texas. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, friend, and colleague to all that knew and loved him. He was born on May 10, 1941 in Columbus, Ohio to Vaughn and Madge Yeager. Dan graduated from the University of Missouri. He served as a captain in the United States Air Force. He worked for American Airlines for 30 years. He was married to Eileen Huddleston Weissert Yeager for 27 years. He had a strong faith in God, and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Dan is survived by his wife Eileen Yeager of McKinney, Texas, his daughters Lorrie Yeager Kaiser and Amy Yeager Goertemiller, his step children Jennifer Weissert Richmond, Marcie Weissert Fox, Mike Weissert, Matt Weissert, and Catherine Weissert Segovia. He had many grandchildren, Nicholas and Abagail Goertemiller, Taylor Kaiser, Jack, Joseph, and Julia Richmond, Annie and Levi Fox, Lucy, Philip, and Evelyn Weissert, Summit and Sunny Weissert, and Helen and Hugo Segovia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vaughn and Madge Yeager.
A Memorial Mass will be 11:00 am Friday, March 8, 2019 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 1000 Tinker Rd., Colleyville, TX 76034 A private family Graveside Ceremony will be at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, Colleyville Boulevard, Colleyville TX. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
