

DeGeorge, Vincent, 64, was called home to be with his Lord on Sunday, June 25, 2017. He was born July 1, 1952 in Chicago, Illinois where he served as a Schaumburg police officer for 13 years. He started his private security company, Fort Knox Protection, Inc., in 1980 and finally retired the end of May this year. He married Patty, the love of his life, on February 16, 1980 and they spent 37 beautiful years together. He was actively involved in Ducks Unlimited as a Zone Chairman for the Lakeview Chapter for 25 years. He was an avid hunter and golfer and loved nothing better than to spend time with his family. Vince loved to travel and especially enjoyed the trips he and Patty made to Hawaii and the Caribbean. His grandchildren were the lights of his life and he will always be remembered as their “Papa.” Vince will be greatly missed and is survived by his loving wife Patty, his three children, Tracy Wickstrom and her husband Eric, Kelly Brehm and her husband Ken and Vincent and his wife Mary Jo; six grandchildren, Michael, Hailey, Krista, Anthony, Nicholas, Lucas; his loving Yorkie Rocky Boy and many more family and friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 28th from 4:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville. A celebration of his life will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 29th at White’s Chapel United Methodist Church, 185 South White Chapel Blvd., Southlake. Interment at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. The family welcomes all to come and honor this amazing man!
