

Virginia Ruth Stone was known as many things to many people. She was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew her best, Virginia will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
She was the daughter of Sherwood and Bessie Badgett.
Virginia was raised with three brothers, Deward, Jessie, Wilson and three sisters, Myrtle, Evelyn, and Frances. Virginia was usually involved in all sorts of activities with her siblings. She and her siblings shared many life experiences over the years.
Virginia worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs. Virginia was blessed with two daughters, Debra and Janana. Another blessing for Virginia was the gift of five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Fortunately, Virginia enjoyed what she did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Virginia worked diligently and did her best to succeed in her career. Virginia worked at Pleasant Grove Pharmacy, ran the Round House Café and then retired from Manor Bakery after 28 years.
Virginia enjoyed her leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. She loved to read, watch the Hallmark channel, loved to walk, and tend to her flower beds. Virginia was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and loved to cook and spend time with her family.
Virginia passed away on August 29, 2016 in Gainseville, Texas. She is survived by her sister, Frances Burge; daughters, Debra D. Wickware and husband Roy and Janana V. Epperley and husband David; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A graveside service was held at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville, Texas. Virginia was laid to rest in Bluebonet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville, Texas.
Simply stated, Virginia was an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Virginia leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Virginia Ruth Stone.
