Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment: 3 p.m. Saturday in Mountain Peak Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Bill was born December 2, 1918, in Drumright, Oklahoma, to William Ebb Miner and Rhoda Lee Beard Miner. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific with the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters; one stepson; and three grandchildren.
Survivors: His wife of 48 1/2 years, Jacqueline "Jackie" Miner; son, Bill Miner and wife, Joan, of Venice, California; daughters, Linda Finch and husband, Dennis, of Tacoma, Washington, Anita Davis of McAlester, Oklahoma, and Marie Ray and husband, Curtis, of McAlester; stepchildren, Steve Phillips and wife, Denise, Cindy Hopp and husband, Frank, and Susan Bicknell and husband, Rick; daughter-in-law, Angela Phillips; 28 grandchildren; and a passel of great-grandchildren.
