William Cecil Stewart

William was born on October 11, 1957, in Newport News, Virginia. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, including several years stationed at the Pentagon. After 20 years of dedicated service, he retired with the rank of Technical Sergeant (TSgt) and was honored with the Meritorious Service Medal.

Following his military career, William built a successful civilian career as an IT Manager with Citi Group, where he worked for over 25 years.

William will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his service to his country, and his quiet strength and kindness.

He is survived by his beloved husband, Brandon C. Stewart; his cherished fur babies, Perla, and Teddy Stewart; his sister Patricia Perdue and her husband Gary; his brother Gene Stewart and his wife Sheila; his sister Grace Joyner and her husband Ken; his father- and mother-in-law, A.C. and Charlene Weatherly; along with many other loving family members and friends.

William's legacy of love, service, and devotion will live on in all who knew him.

A visitation will be held at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, located at 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, TX 76034, on January 8, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The funeral service will take place at the same venue on January 9, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
