Hurst - Willie Mae Lipscomb went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 5, 2017. Funeral Service: 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Jim Graham. Interment: 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 10, 2017 at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
Willie Mae was born on December 11, 1927 to William and Grace Cross in Pritchett, Texas. She had a strong work ethic; Willie Mae worked as a nurse for 42 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, Willie Mae will be missed by all who knew her.
Those preceding her in death are her beloved husband of 65 years; William “Bill” Lipscomb, 3 grandchildren; Jeremy Todd Lipscomb, Robert Jones and Kelly Lipscomb.
Those left to cherish Willie Mae’s memory: children; Jean Marie Tarver, and husband Allen, Patsy Ruth Graham, and husband Jim, William Earnest Lipscomb, and wife Marie, Kenneth Eugene Lipscomb, and wife Anna Lou, Cathy Jo Bevers, Linda Grace Powell, and husband Louis, 11 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.
