Born on January 15, 1937, in Many, Louisiana, Yvonne was the eldest of five children. She spent her early years in Louisiana and Southeast Texas before making Bedford her home in 1970. She dedicated over 20 years of service to the City of Bedford, retiring in 1996. Yvonne had a deep love for travel.
She is survived by her loving partner, Dave Becker; her children, Charles Teague (Dee), Donna Stafford (David), and Sandra Riggs (Rachelle); her brother, Carl Trotti (Judy); as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Yvonne is preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Shumack; her sisters, Lorraine Daley and Charlene Mendoza; and her brother, Donnie Trotti.
A graveside service will be held at 2pm on January 30, 2025, at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home.
