Frank A. Zack, Jr., of Collierville, passed away on January 18, 2020. He was born on May 10, 1940 in Newport News, Virginia, the son of Dr. Frank and Mary Zack. Frank served in the US Air Force. He retired in 2004 after 37 years with Chrysler Financial Corporation. He often was called back to perform additional work for them, which he enjoyed. He served as a Volunteer with the Collierville Police Department. He was active in the Shoebox Ministry with Collierville First Baptist Church. He volunteered and supported the Union Mission Memphis. Frank is survived by his wife of 50 years Betty E. Zack of Collierville; his son James Allosso of Collierville and son Frank A. Zack III of Dallas, TX; grandchildren Zach, Jayme and Jenna Allosso, all of Collierville; siblings Beverly Windsor, Mary Jane Fjelseth, Jim Zack, and Kathy Palmer.
Any donations made to the Union Mission Memphis in his memory are appreciated. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 21, 2020, from 5pm to 7pm at Collierville Funeral Home 534 W. Poplar Ave., Collierville, TN 38017. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 10am at Collierville First Baptist Church, 830 New Byhalia Rd., Collierville, TN 38017. Burial will be February 7, 2020 at 1:15pm, at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 4000 Forest Hill Irene Rd., Memphis, TN 38125.
