Alan Dorris Doyle

Alan Doyle, 55, passed from this life to his heavenly home on Saturday October 25, 2014. He was born on December 9, 1958 in Memphis, TN. He graduated from Overton High School and State Technical Institute in Memphis, TN. Alan became a Christian at Beverly Hills Baptist Church and was a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church. He worked at Fed Ex as a Technical Support Analyst for 19 years. Alan was blessed with a large group of friends and family who loved him dearly. He had a core group of friends who he had known since they attended elementary school together at Willow Oaks Elementary. They have all remained close friends for 50 years. He loved music, motorcycles and his dog Dale. Alan is survived by his parents, Dorris and Ruth Doyle; brother, Keith Doyle and sister-in-law, Katherine Doyle. He is also survived by beloved nieces and nephews; Kirby Doyle, Katie Clark, Kelsey Doyle and great nieces and nephews; Allie Starrett, Julian Doyle and Jocelynn Neal. Alan’s family will receive guests for visiting and refreshments on Tuesday, October 28, from 5pm-8 pm and funeral services will be on Wednesday, October 29 beginning at 11:00 am all at the Collierville Funeral Home located at 534 W.
