Albert Emilio Devoto "Duffy" passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, October 22nd. Duffy retired from two careers in his life, first as a new gas expeditor at Memphis Light Gas and Water Division and secondly, over the Facilities Department at the Shelby County School System.
He leaves his wife of 71 years, Virginia Devoto and his three children, Don Devoto (Holly), Debi Devoto (Bill) and Diane Devoto Day (Rick deceased) along with 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Duffy was devoted to his family and attended all of his children's and grandchildren's school and extracurricular activities. He was also a consummate jokester and brought a smile and laughter to everyone he met.
A private service will be held at Collierville Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 27th.
