Byron Tullious Dunn

Byron Tullious Dunn, 81, of Collierville, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, December 21, 2011. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:30 a.m. Saturday, December 24, funeral services will follow at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, December 24, at Collierville Presbyterian Church, 202 West Poplar Avenue. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery. A longtime resident of Collierville, Mr. Dunn was a Rural Mail Route Carrier, Farmer, Rotarian, served as an Elder, Sunday School Teacher and Mentor at Collierville Presbyterian Church, he was also a member of the Collierville Coffee Club and a very appreciated Army Veteran; he was born, raised, schooled, lived and died in Collierville Tennessee he was one of the Shelby County Early Settlers. Byron joins his wife of 60 years, Anne Griffin Dunn, for Christmas. He is survived by his two daughters, Suzanne Griffin Dunn and Beth Dunn Jett, both of Germantown; three grandchildren, Will Locastro, Ava Katherine Jett, and Griffin Jett; and his sister, Betty Grace Dunn Bulle (Dr. Frank Bulle). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Collierville Presbyterian Church.
