Charles Wesley Dennis

Charles W. Dennis, 88, of Collierville, TN, passed away on March 27, 2014. He was retired from International Harvester Co. after 28 years of service. He was also retired from the KMart Corporation after 10 years and from Walmart after 17 years. Mr. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Andrew, his wife of 62 years, Georgina Dennis, and a daughter, Marcia. He is survived by his son, Andrew, two daughters; Kathleen Kunz and Lynn Dennis, and three grandchildren: Stephanie, Danny and Jeffrey Kunz. He also leaves a sister, Mary Dornback of Elburn, IL. Mr. Dennis proudly served in the U.S. Navy. After his military service he graduated from The University of Illinois. Visitation at Collierville Funeral Home from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m., on Thursday, April 3 with a commitment ceremony at 12:30 p.m. in the West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery at 4000 Forest Hill-Irene Road, Memphis, TN.
