Charlotte Ann Andrews, 83, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 1, 2019 surrounded by her family. Born to the late Everett and Vera Smith, Charlotte was a retired school teacher for DeSoto County Schools. She loved to serve the Lord and was a longtime member of Brookside Baptist Church in Olive Branch, MS. Her favorite pastime included crocheting, singing, and most importantly, taking care of family. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sylvia Sellers, and her First husband, Jerome Stephens. Charlotte leaves behind her loving husband, George M. Andrews; six children, Todd Stephens (Sheryl), Alec Edward Stephens (Patty), Mack Andrews (Ann), George Andrews, Todd Andrews, Michelle Andrews; two sisters, Priscilla Hall and Rosalind Headley. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren, Scott Stephens, Ally Stephens (Lance), Blake Stephens, Hannah Andrews, Ellie Andrews, Billy Andrews, Allison Andrews, Hilary Andrews, and one great grandchild, Faith Elizabeth Coffman- Stephens. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at 3:00 pm with visitation beginning at 2:00 pm at Brookside Baptist Church, 4993 HWY 302 Olive Branch, MS 38654. Private burial will follow at West Tennessee Veteran’s Cemetery at a later date.
