

David Joseph Wieduwilt, Jr., 63, of Collierville, TN passed away on August 16, 2026. Mr. Wieduwilt was born on May 14, 1963, in Highland, IL. He obtained two degrees from the University of Memphis and has worked as a biomedical engineer for the hospitals of Memphis, the midsouth, and surrounding states for over 40 years. He also volunteered for the Novick Cardiac Alliance for more than 10 years. This is an organization that works to help children in more than 34 developing and war-torn countries with cardiac issues. He had a heart for helping people and this showed in his dedication to his work. In his free time, Mr. Wieduwilt enjoyed hunting, water sports, gardening, and traveling. He was also known to be a bit of a “handyman” and could repair or fix almost anything. Mr. Wieduwilt was preceded in death by his father, David Joseph Wieduwilt. He is survived by his wife, Olesia Nerubashchenko; four sons: Colby Wieduwilt (Kelsey), Connor Wieduwilt (Haley), Bogdan Wieduwilt, and Tehon Wieduwilt; mother, Judith Wieduwilt; three sisters: Brenda Campbell, Anita Wilson (Michael), and Catherine Graham (Sebastian); and his mother-in-law, Luda Nerubashchenko.
