Diane O'Brien Solomon, 80, of Eads, Tennessee, passed away on October 22, 2026. Born August 17, 1946, in Lebanon, Tennessee, Diane will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Throughout her life, Diane carried herself with steady devotion and quiet strength—someone whose care for others was shown not in grand gestures, but in daily faithfulness, sincerity, and the dependable work of loving a family well. Her honest spirit and kind heart left a lasting imprint on the home she built and the lives she touched.
Diane is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, James David Solomon, Jr.; children, Kerry Davenport (Phil), Col. Charles David Solomon (Elizabeth), James Thomas Solomon; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
An artistic soul, Diane enjoyed making jewelry, creating beauty with her hands and an eye for detail that reflected her patient, hard-working nature. She also found joy in cooking for her family, offering comfort and togetherness through meals made with care. Diane was an animal lover and took special pleasure in looking after them, extending the same gentle attentiveness that defined so much of her life.
Memorials may be made in honor of Diane to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, Susan G. Komen for Breast Cancer Awareness, or the charity of donor's choice.
