Dolores Irene Korytkowski

Dolores Irene Korytkowski (nee Michalek) died peacefully at age 90 on April 2, 2017 in Memphis TN following a brief illness. She was born on January 23, 1927 in Buffalo, New York to the late John and Rose Michalek.

Dolores grew up and lived in Buffalo, NY with her surviving husband, Henry M. Korytkowski, until 1969 when the family moved to Rochester, NY. In September 2016, she and Henry moved to Memphis TN to live with their son, Paul and daughter in law, Lorrie (nee Hunold), and close to their granddaughter, Traci (Alex Porzel) and great grandchildren – Hartley, Christian, Lauren Elizabeth (LE), Kate, and Chloe; with frequent visits from Ashley (Shaun Sanislo)(Park City, UT) and their children – Finnley, Oakley, and Ajay.

In addition to those mentioned above, she is survived by daughter Mary (Bruce Herschlag) and their children, Gregory (Vanessa Barnett-Loro) (Durham, NC) and Jillian (Pittsburgh, PA); daughter Susan (Richard Knapp) and their children – Jackson and Michael (Washington DC); daughter Jane Charleton (Nashville, TN) and son Luke (Amanda (nee Ely)(Cincinnati,OH); daughter, Anne (Michael Pistacchio) (Raleigh NC) and their children, Joseph (Charleston, SC) and Nicholas; son, Michael (Darlene nee Fee) and their children – Aaron, Paul and Tyler (Rochester, NY). She is survived by her brother John Michalek (Alice)(Buffalo, NY). Dolores was preceded in death by her son, Peter (Rochester, NY).

Dolores was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She deeply loved and was loved by her family and her lifelong friends.

A funeral service will be held at Church of the Incarnation in Collierville, TN.
