Dorothy M. Ham

Dorothy Mae Ham, 87, of Collierville, passed away on April 18, 2017. The family will gather to receive friends at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, April 21, and the funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. at Collierville Funeral Home. Interment will follow at New Salem Cemetery in Cayce, MS. Mrs. Ham was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Ronald Ferrell; and her great grandson, Christopher Matthews. Dorothy is survived by her husband of 65 years, Obie N. Ham; her son, Mike Ham; 3 daughters, Robin Thomas (Mike), Donna Goode, and Obie G, Ham; her sister, Jewel Gossett; 2 brothers, Pollard Petrowski (Florence) and Elmore Petrowski (Connie); 7 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. The family wishes to give a special thank you to her nephew, Tim Petrowski, and her grand children, Nikki Spencer, LeAnn Matthews, Tonya Rhoades, and Chris Cook, for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, lasting memorials may be directed to the Baptist Reynolds Hospice House in Collierville.
