Elmer Arthur Rosemann, 91, of Piperton, TN passed away from this life on January 11, 2020. Elmer spent most of his life in various facets of the construction industry and was a compulsive builder in his private life as well. Elmer loved trees and built his home amongst them on a tract he named "Wauldhaus" which is German for house in the woods. He was preceded in death by his dear wife Jo Ann, whom he missed terribly. He was born in Carsonville, MO, on December 13, 1928, the 8th of 14 children of Joseph and Margaret Rosemann. He is survived by 3 of his siblings, Catherine Carmichael of Phoenix, AZ, Leroy Rosemann of Salem, MO and Clarence Rosemann of Bunker, MO.
Elmer served his city of Piperton as elected commissioner and also volunteered at different times on the planning commission, board of appeals and industrial development board and a short period as animal control officer.
Arrangements for Elmer: visitation, Friday, January 17, 2020 at 9:00 at the Collierville Funeral Home chapel, with funeral services following at 10:00. Burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest making donations to Elmer's favorite charity, St. Jude's Children Hospital in Memphis, TN.
