I am a better person for having known Farrell Evans.

DWAYNE and JACKIE BLAKE

April 30, 2018

Jackie and I with our first child and first job moved to Memphis in 1964. On our first visit to the Wesleyan Methodist Church we met Barbi and Farrell. We had much in common and immediately became friends. We were young, naive, curious expectant and ignorant about what the future held for us. Our comfort was our trust and faith that Jesus Christ would care for us and direct our paths.

In the years since Jackie and my path has taken us in many directions. It is a testimony to Farrell and Barbi's consistency and faith that they stayed and let God use them where they were. Farrell's contribution to the local society, the Godly family he has left and the contribution they continue to make to the Kingdom and the society in which they live is a fitting legacy to the life of Farrell- and Barbi

Occasionally over the years , we would find opportunity to reunite and the years of separation would melt away.

True friend ship is a treasure.
