Frances Louise Butler (Vescovi) passed away on March 12, 2025, in Collierville, Tennessee. Born on August 22, 1947, in Memphis, Tennessee, Frances lived a life filled with love for her family and a deep appreciation for animals.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Flood and her spouse John, and Cynthia Fowler, and her spouse Jessie. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Robert E. Davis Jr., Panda Kelly, Christopher Sierra, Christina Sels, Mitchell Flood, and Brennan Bartram. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren Riley Paige Davis, Kylan Davis, Presley James, Madyson James, Gabriel Wilson, and Ariana, Maia, and Liam Sierra.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Clara Vescovi; her husband John Butler; her sister Bertie Holliman; and great-grandsons Ethan Conner and Jeremiah Johnson.
A lifelong lover of animal, especially dogs and horses, Frances found joy in their companionship. Her kindness and warmth will be remembered by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those who loved her.
A graveside service to honor Frances will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Calvary Cemetery, located at 1663 Elvis Presley Blvd, Memphis, TN 38106.
