

FRANK THOMAS TALARICO, SR., 86, of Memphis, passed away Monday, June 13, 2011. Mr. Talarico was a World War II veteran. During his life, he worked for the railroad, was a member of Boilermakers Local 263 and owned Jump and Grab Grocery #4 in Memphis. He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his six sisters and five brothers. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lela Fay; daughter, Frances Ann Gurkin (Edward Scharff); son, Frank Thomas Talarico, Jr. (Stephanie); grandchildren, Pittman Gurkin, Jennifer (Brad) Harvey, Haley Talarico, Nicole (Daniel) Crawley, Brittany Talarico, Shelby Talarico, Paige Gardner, Ty Talarico; and great-granddaughter, Libby Johnsen. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 15 at Collierville Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m.; service, Thursday, June 16, 10 a.m. at Church of the Incarnation, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery.
