Collierville, TN – Jacqueline Gossett Wilson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2025, at the age of 98.
Born on September 9, 1926, in Cordova, Jacqueline lived a life filled with love, devotion, and quiet strength. She was the cherished wife of Clyde Richard Wilson for an extraordinary 80 years — a testament to enduring love and partnership.
Jacqueline's life was deeply rooted in family. She was a devoted mother to Romona Bowen, Delores Johnson(Benny), Mary Wilson, and Ricky Wilson(Jeannie). Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Rod Turner, Laura Beth Smith(Brad), Sharon Leath(Rex), Michelle Leatherwood(John), Victoria Watts(Blake), John Wilson, Jameson Wilson. She was also blessed with 13 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy and pride.
Known for her warm heart and creative spirit, Jacqueline found joy in the simple, beautiful things of life: ballroom dancing, the art of cooking for those she loved, the adventure of traveling, and the timeless craft of sewing. Her talents brought comfort and joy to many, and her home was always a place of welcome and warmth.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Jacqueline's life on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 1:00 PM for visitation, with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM.
Jacqueline’s life was a quiet but powerful example of love, resilience, and devotion. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, love, and unwavering faith in the importance of family.

A visitation for Jackie will be held Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Collierville Funeral Home, 3863 Bailey Station Road, Collierville, Tennessee 38017, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
