James Earl Harris

James Earl Harris, 76, of Byhalia, MS went to be with the Lord Saturday, February 6, 2021. Mr. Harris was preceded in death by his parents, Alvis Harris, Sr. and Rebecca Ann Harris; and siblings: William “Bud” Harris, Richard Harris, Doris Wilson, Mary Ellen Baker, Betty Jean Vaughn, and Curtis Joe Harris. He is survived by his sister, Sarah Moore; brothers: Alvis Harris, Jr., Howard Lee Harris, and Don Harris; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Harris retired after 33 years from AOC as a maintenance mechanic. He was a lifelong member of Barton First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Barton First Baptist Church on Friday, February 12, 2021 from 12-1 pm with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Barton First Baptist Church Cemetery.
