James Nash Davis, 77, of Collierville, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. Visitation will take place on Saturday, April 30 from 4-7 p.m. at Collierville Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Kennett, MO at 12 p.m. Sunday, May 1.”Poppy” was a retired banker with several different banks in Memphis and a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He is survived by his wife Shirley Reed Davis of 52 years, two son, Mitch Davis of Collierville and Scott Davis of Dallas along with 6 grandchildren: Ryan and Tyler Davis of Collierville and Drew, Reed, Kelsey, and T. Davis of Dallas.
