I was a high school classmate of Jan's. She was always full of fun and had a smile on her face. My heart goes out to all of her family. It is one of the hardest things that can be asked of a family to bare the loss of a daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt. The only way is through God's grace. May God give you all strength.

Aunt Betty, Scotty and Nancy--I am so sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of Jan riding Susan, Dena and me around on her bicycle when we would come visit. I always thought she was so beautiful. We lost touch after Uncle Cliff died, but had recently connected on Facebook. I know from the prayers she sent to me for Daddy and Dean Jr on Facebook, that she loved the Lord and her family and is in a far better place. I will be remembering all of you in my prayers in the coming weeks. Hope Byars Patrick, Dean's daughter.

Jan has been such a wonderful neighbor to Danny & I. She's made us feel like we were in a small town back in the "good old days". She had the best brownie recipe, she loved to share her brownies but not that recipe! She & Danny always conversed back & forth about how may deer were in our backyards. We will miss her dearly. Our prayers go out to the whole family & Clayton please call if you need us anytime day or night.

I am so very sorry for the loss of your loved one. Like Clayton, I grew up in the Essary Springs/Pocahontas area. I only met Jan a couple of times, but she seemed like a very sweet lady. At this time, may God give you the strength, comfort, and peace as only He can. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Scotty has been my best friend for years. I have heard many stories about Jan, Abby, Betsy and Jan's beautiful grandchildren. I have also been fortunate enough to meet Jan. She is at peace now and I pray that all of you can find your own personal peace in knowing that. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers! Becky
