Jerry Joe Simpson, 80, passed peacefully from this life at home on November 29, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Helen Anthony Simpson for 57 years. He was father to Jackie Perkins (Ken) and Jennifer Outlaw. He was fondly called Nandy by 4 grandchildren, Kenny Perkins (Heather), Jeremy Perkins (Sarah), Michael Outlaw and Cassie Smithey (Austin) and 3 great grandchildren, Andrew Perkins, Wyatt Perkins and Jace Smithey. He is also survived by a sister, Claudia Graves. Mr. Simpson served in the Army in the Korean War. He was the son of the late Luton and Hallie Simpson and brother of the late Janice Chatham. Visitation will be 12 o’clock Monday, December 1, 2014 with funeral services at 1 o’clock at the Collierville Funeral Home. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
