Jo Ann Rosemann

Jo Ann Ashley Roseman, 77, of Piperton, TN, passed away on January 20, 2015. Mrs. Roseman was the daughter of the late Virgil and Thelma Ashley. Jo Ann was a retired teacher who spent most of her career at Germantown High School teaching English. She was a graduate of Keiser, AR High School and the University of Mississippi where she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority. She was active in community organizations including Collierville United Methodist Church, Collierville Contemporary Club, President of Shelby East Garden Club, Collierville 20th Century Club and several Bridge Clubs. Jo Ann was an avid reader and loved to travel. She is survived by her husband, Elmer Rosemann, sister, Frances Myers, nephew, Virgil Ashley, III (Mary Jon) and nieces, Diane Gelvin (Steve) and Melinda Black (Tim). Services will be 2pm, Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the Sanctuary on the Square in Collierville with visitation an hour prior. Memorials can be made to Sanctuary on the Square or to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
