John Richard Fox Jr.

John Richard Fox, Jr., passed away Friday evening, August 15, 2025, at 7:30 p.m., in his home surrounded by his family. He will be remembered foremost for his love of Jesus, which radiated into his love for his family; his wife, sons, and grandchildren and was visible in his love of nature in his gardening and his enjoyment of spending time with his sons in sports.

John was a hard worker, invested in helping people, and fueled by his pure love for others. His faith sustained him until he could reach the place to hear, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”

Praise be to God, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

John is preceded in death by his parents John Richard Fox and Pauline S. Fox, and by his son, Jerod L. Fox.

He is survived by his wife, Eileen B. Fox, his children, John R. Fox, III (Shelly), Justin S. Fox (Miranda), and Jamison B. Fox. His grandchildren Elizabeth A. Fox, Joshua L. Fox (Tara), Adam D. Fox, Samantha J. Fox, John David Fox, and Jakob M. Fox.

John also leaves his brother, Charles D. Fox, and his sister, Paula H. Fox.

A visitation for John will be held Thursday, August 21, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Collierville First Baptist Church, 830 New Byhalia Rd, Collierville, TN 38017, followed by a memorial service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
