Mrs. Phillips,

I’ve been thinking of you and Miss Annabel with a heavy heart. I will forever remember Mr. Phillips for his sweet smile & warm “Hellos.” As Mr. Barnard put it, “he was one of those REAL good guys!” Everyone in Stone Village felt that. This week has been hard for the whole community/family you have; that attests to what a wonderful person Mr. Phillips was.
I have been praying for you, your family & your extended family! May all of your wonderful memories heal your heart & dry your tears….until you meet again.
With love,
Amy W. (Mail lady).
ps- it didn’t feel right not to pay my respect today. I had to be in Tuscaloosa this morning with my daughter. ❤️

Alex & I will always remember JT’s smiling face each Sunday morning as we started our journey at Crossroads UMC/Peace Tree UMC. He was always there to greet us with a big smile, handshake or hug. I also remember his early morning coffee runs to Kroger where he was always stocking up on coffee. 😄. We will miss him dearly. Our prayers, hugs and love are with Ms. Ann and the family. 🙏

John Troy was a real joy to be around as far back as our high school years. We shall always remember his generosity and attendance to our class reunions. I cherish each moment I was in his presence, especially when we reminisced about our dads.
May God continue to bless and comfort his family.
Surely goodness and mercy will follow John Troy and he shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Friends, Always Are
