Beloved husband of Jody; loving father of Joseph (Samantha), John (Becka), and Christopher (Stephani); dearest grandfather of Cole, Ethan and Ava; dear brother of Jim and Beverly (Rich).
John was a dedicated educator for 38 years who loved his colleagues and students. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, and Ohio State alumnus, and he loved nothing more than spending time with friends and family.
John was especially fond of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations made in his name to St. Jude’s.
