Jonathan Michael Welter

Jonathan Michael Welter, 47, of Memphis, passed from this life Monday, February 18, 2019 at the Methodist University Hospital in Memphis. He was born December 11, 1971 in Minneapolis, MN to Donald Keith and Barbara Lee Clark Welter. Jon was a graduate of the University of Memphis and was a Operations Manager for FedEx Supply Chain. He was an avid sports fan, especially NASCAR and all Memphis Sports. Along with his parents he is survived by his wife; Kendra Shepherd Welter, three sisters; Kimberly Ann Carter (David), Amy Louise Cozad (Kyle), Angela K. Smith (Jim) and his dog; Izzy. The family will receive friends with a reception, Friday, February 22, 2019 from 12pm - 2pm with a Celebration of Life Service beginning at 2pm. The family has requested that friends and family attend in casual attire for that is how Jon would want it. Memorials can be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
