Joseph Forrest Anderson, Jr., 74, passed away May 24, 2022. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in Vietnam. He enjoyed collecting and hunting for Indian Arrowheads, he on occasion played golf. He was a loving husband and father who enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Betty Anderson; sons, Chris Anderson (Sandol) and Matt Anderson (Lisa); step-son, Larry Byrd (Teri); grandchildren, Zach Anderson, Colin Anderson, Owen Anderson, and Sophia Anderson and step-grandchildren, Billy Ash and Sam Byrd.
The family will receive friends on Friday May 27, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. at Collierville Funeral Home, 534 W Poplar Avenue, Collierville, Tennessee. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Collierville Funeral Home with interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery.
