Joshua Michael "Josh" McMillon

Joshua Michael McMillon, age 26, of Collierville, TN, died on May 26, 2014. He was born November 2,1987, in Clearwater, FL. He graduated from Collierville High School in 2006, where he elected as a Captain of the Varsity Football Team. He received his Bachelors Degree in Business Management in 2011 from The University of Mississippi where he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity.

Josh is survived by his parents, Jacqueline W. McMillon of Tampa, FL; and Michael A. McMillon and Mary Ellen McMillon of Collierville, TN. He is also survived by brother and sister in law, Tyler A. and Kelsey Griffin McMillon of Memphis, TN; brother Connor R. McMillon of Tampa, FL; step sisters, Catherine and Ellen Kent Hammett, step brother Warren Hammett, III of Greenville, MS. He also leaves his grandmother, Betty J. McMillon of Collierville,TN, and grandparents Charles and Gail Whatley of Pensacola, FL. His Uncle and Aunt Gordon Warner Whatley and Sue G. Whatley of Tampa, FL; Aunt and Uncle, Debbie R. Grumblatt and Bob Grumblatt of Louisville, KY as well as many cousins.

He is also survived by pallbearers and friends Trey Fitch of Nashville, TN, Sean Kelley of Memphis, TN, Noel Moyes of Atlanta, GA, Reed Portis of Nashville, TN, Cory Beuchannen of Memphis, TN, Joseph Crabtree of Memphis, TN, Jesse Phillips of Memphis, TN, Tyler Samuels of Nashville, TN, and Nathan Ennis of Memphis, TN as well as too many other close friends to mention.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Collierville Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Collierville First Baptist Church located on Byhalia Road. Funeral services will be held at 12:00p.m. , Friday, May 30, 2014 at Collierville First Baptist Church on Byhalia Road.
