Kenneth E. “Skip” Trevathan, 76, passed away July 23, 2023. He was born on February 14, 1947 in Martin, Tennessee to Walter E. Trevathan and Barbara Louise (Gallimore) Trevathan. He graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin, where he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha and founding member of Phi Mu Alpha. He had a lifelong love of music and was a member of numerous bands from the 60s through the 90s. He was a passionate Tennessee Vols fan and loved all things UT orange. He began his career in music and it evolved to owning businesses and working in the emerging field of Logistics. He also was a member of several commissions and boards in Germantown. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and traveling.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and three siblings, Diane Trevathan, William Wray “Butch” Trevathan, Pamela Flatt, and her husband Terry Flatt.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Peggy (Miller) Trevathan, two daughters, Stephanie Bailey (Jeff) and Ashley Maness (John), a son, Kenneth “Bo” Trevathan, and two grandchildren, Jeffrey Bailey, Jr. and Jeannette Bailey. His sister-in-law, Joyce Trevathan, also survives, as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews. He cherished the time he spent with his family.
