Lewis Mike Michael Gullett

Lewis Michael Gullett, age 63, died Wednesday, April 24, 2013. He was in outside sales for Magnolia Lighting. Over the years, Mike worked for various lighting showroom companies. He had a wonderful love of nature and was an accomplished, avid hunter and fisherman. He could talk to you just about anything dealing with animals, nature or cooking. He would enjoy trying new BBQ and smoker techniques. If you were blessed to be a part of his 4th of July gatherings or Thanksgiving feasts, you did not leave with an empty stomach. Mike never met a stranger. His gift of gab left you feeling like you and he had been friends for years. He was a devoted husband who loved his wife of 31 years and his dog, Joey. He is survived by his wife, Sherry (Patton) Gullett; Mother: Lucille (Redditt) Thompson; sisters, Patricia Boyd, Jeannie Gullett; nephews: Michael West (wife Christina), Ronnie West. He was preceded in death by his father: Lewis Gullett, and grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. Truman Gullett. The family received friends from 5 - 7 p.m., Saturday, April 27, 2013.
