Linda Gayle Brown, 78, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2026. Born on February 27, 1948, in Heidelberg, Mississippi, Linda was the cherished daughter of Dellie and Roscoe Brown.
Linda’s life was filled with love for her family and a passion for the simple joys that brought people together. She found immense happiness in dancing and baking—two activities that reflected her vibrant spirit and nurturing heart. Whether she was moving to the rhythm of her favorite music or creating delicious treats in the kitchen, Linda’s warmth and energy left lasting impressions on those around her.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Michele Eakes (Michael) and Theresa Call (Brett); her grandchildren, Stephanie, Robert, Justin B, Mikayla, Alex, Zachary, Keoasha, Justin E, and Tristan ; and her 7 great-grandchildren. Linda also leaves behind her siblings Mark Brown, Bob Brown, and Bonnie Lacey and a host of nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents Dellie and Roscoe Brown; her sisters Patsy Habeeb, Faye Harrington, and Sue Jeffus Gibbs; and her brothers Mack Brown and Ralph Brown.
Her legacy of love will continue to live on through the many lives she touched. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her. A Celebration of Life will be held on August 7, 2026, at Collierville Funeral Home 3863 Bailey Station with gathering from 2-4pm and a service from 4-5pm.
