Lowell was a beloved father and grandfather and shared his love for the great outdoors with his children and grandchildren whether hiking and watching the wildlife at the ranch or canoeing and cooking s’mores over a campfire in Texas. He also greatly enjoyed his later years in Germantown, TN when he and his wife moved to be closer to family in 2011. He was involved in his retirement community attending men’s coffee talks, sing-alongs, and weekly poker games with his dear friends.
