Martha Mask Baskin

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Mother Martha Mask Baskin of natural causes. She was born in Darling, Mississippi on 3/5/1936 and died in Memphis where she lived most of her life on 6/13/26 at 90 years old.

She was preceded in death by her parents Odis and Mattie Mask; her husband of 66 years Everett Baskin Sr. and son Everett "Chip" Baskin Jr.

She is survived by her daughters Marsha Baskin and Susan Baskin (Wes). She was very proud of her 5 grandchildren who are: Ashton Long (Trenton), Melissa Romer, Chad Holmes (Katelin), Camille Carter (Brett) and Valerie Ewing (Richard). Additionally she had 9 great-grandchildren with twin boys on the way. She was also loved by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Martha worked as a Certified Medical Technologist until her retirement. She enjoyed reading, sewing, and watching PBS public television as well as time with family, especially the grandchildren.

She will be deeply missed but her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her.
